After long months filled with interviews (65 in total), analysis and writing, I’m happy to share the final project report – ‘Towards Technological Change with Workers in Mind: Insights from a study into hospitality workplaces navigating digital transformation’ – from the first large-scale qualitative study to examine how UK hospitality workplaces navigate technological transformation, and how accelerated technological change is altering the nature of hospitality work and reshaping workplace interactions.
The report discusses key findings from the study and provides a series of recommendations and guidelines for employers, educational institutions, unions, professional bodies and policymakers.
